Mazing By Josh respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights under Canada's privacy law (PIPEDA).

Who's responsible

What we collect

  • Order details: your name, email address, billing details, and order history.

  • Payment details: these are handled by our payment processors. We never see or store your full card number.

  • Messages: anything you send through our contact form or by email.

  • Newsletter (optional): your email address, only if you sign up.

  • Website data: basic information collected through cookies, such as browser type, pages visited and general location.

Why we collect it

  • To process your order and deliver your downloads.

  • To answer your questions and help with download problems.

  • To send newsletters, only if you opt in.

  • To understand how our site is used and improve it.

  • To meet legal and tax record-keeping requirements.

We only collect what we need for these purposes, and we don't use it for anything else without your consent.

Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information. We share it only with services that help us run the shop:

  • Squarespace, our website and store platform.

  • Payment processors such as Stripe and PayPal, through Squarespace Payments.

  • Email tools used to send order emails and newsletters.

Some of these providers may store data outside Canada (for example, in the United States). If so, your information may be subject to the laws of that country.

Cookies and analytics

Our site uses cookies to make the store and checkout work, and to collect basic, anonymous visitor statistics through Squarespace Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site, such as checkout, may not work properly.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as needed to provide your downloads and meet tax and legal requirements (in Canada, generally up to six years). Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Messages are kept only as long as needed to help you.

How we protect it

Our site uses secure (HTTPS) connections, and payments are processed by PCI-compliant providers. Access to customer information is limited to the people who run the shop.

Your rights

You can:

  • ask to see the personal information we hold about you,

  • ask us to correct anything that's wrong,

  • ask us to delete your information, unless we must keep it by law (such as tax records),

  • withdraw your consent to newsletters at any time with the "unsubscribe" link in every email.

Email info@mazingbyjosh.com and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).

Children

Our mazes are made for all ages, but purchases should be made by an adult. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was updated.
